February is Black History Month. I’m excited to share a few book recommendations with you!! Hopefully you are sharing books like this in your classroom all year long. If you have more books I should add to my stack, let me know in the comment section.
I rounded up some of my favorite December holiday/winter picture books for you. I’m sharing many of these titles during library story times, but you might also enjoy them in your classrooms or with your own kiddos.
According to the National Congress of American Indians, “November is Native American Heritage Month, or as it is commonly referred to, American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month. The month is a time to celebrate rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories and to acknowledge the important contributions of Native people.”
